2025 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards

First established by the Federal Government in 1985, the Australian Tourism Awards are now owned and managed by the Australian Tourism Industry Council, on behalf of the tourism industry. 

The winners of the 26 national business categories at the Brolga Awards are automatically entered into the Australian Tourism Awards. Winners from these finalists are announced at the Australian Tourism Awards ceremony in front of an audience of industry leaders and peers. 

Top honours are the induction into the esteemed Hall of Fame to an entrant who has won the same category for three consecutive years. 

For both the industry and the consumer an Australian Tourism Award is recognised as a mark of excellence in Australian tourism.

Their ‘Stories from the Heart’ campaign celebrated authentic stories that captured the emotional connection people have with the region - from unforgettable travel moments to deep ties to Country and community. Delivered across digital and in-person channels, it fostered local pride, encouraged visitor advocacy, and positioned the region as rich in character and meaning.
