Pastoral and Agricultural Tourism

Pastoral and Agricultural tourism

With large areas of pastoral land covering a cross section of the Territory’s landscape, there is opportunity to develop pastoral and agricultural properties into unique visitor experiences, celebrating Territory life and history. Pastoral and agritourism product experiences are increasing across the country, with a growing trend towards people seeking on-farm experiences. The Northern Territory is home to a number of diverse pastoral and agricultural tourism products.

Tourism and Events NT has developed a number of case studies from across the Territory and nationally to assist those wishing to explore pastoral and agricultural tourism or invigorate their existing product. They provide insight into processes followed and lessons learnt along the way.
