Destination NT was held 4-8 November 2025 and included a conference, forums, sector specific conversations and workshops, stakeholder networking, and finish with a celebration of industry excellence at the 2025 Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards.
Developed in response to industry feedback, Destination NT provided a refreshed approach to engagement and development, creating space for shared learning, stronger networks and greater collective impact. Destination NT 2025 had over 2025 attendees.
The theme for 2025 was – Connect, Collaborate, Celebrate.

Destination NT will be held in Alice Springs in November 2026. We look forward to announcing the 2026 program of events and dates soon.

Destination NT was developed to support a new direction for tourism, events and hospitality and broaden understanding of the role these sectors play in economic development, building community pride and enhancing the NT's unique lifestyle.
The high-impact program format provides a new opportunity for tourism and hospitality businesses, government and community and industry stakeholders to connect, collaborate and gain valuable insights while celebrating excellents.
This is about taking the tourism, events and hospitality industry conversation to the community to build understanding about the visitor economy and its impact on the overall NT economy.
Through consultation with industry, including feedback from the 2025 Tourism Towards 2030 Conference, where 59% of survey respondents supported a consolidated conference format alternating between Darwin and Alice Springs annually.
Destination NT will feature the annual conference (historically called Tourism Towards 2030), the Aboriginal Tourism Forum, sector opportunities session and the Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards.
Destination NT will be held in Darwin in 2025 and Alice Springs in 2026 to align with the Brolga Awards location schedule.
