Tourism and Events NT provide research and analysis on the economic value of tourism to the Territory’s economy by using tourism related data from a number of sources including (but not limited to): Tourism Research Australia (TRA); Tourism Australia; the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS); the IMF World Economic Outlook; and the Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics (BITRE).
This research and analysis assists and informs industry, regional tourism organisations and government partners in strategic planning, campaign development and investment.
