The Northern Territory Aboriginal Tourism Strategy 2020-2030 vision is to inspire visitors to connect with one of the world's oldest living cultures through immersive tourism experiences that sustain the Aboriginal tourism sector for future generations.

The Aboriginal Tourism Development Support Grant Program (Grant Program) supports this vision by helping Aboriginal-owned businesses and organisations develop Aboriginal cultural tourism experiences and products that encourage visitors to travel to the Northern Territory and stay longer.

Tourism and Events NT provided a non-competitive funding pool for professional services to support feasibility studies and business planning. Professional services could also assist applicants to prepare applications to the relevant land council or other land management authority for tourism experiences and products.
