  • Away Travel Group: Deliver a permanent nighttime food attraction, Darwin Hawker Market, operating year-round $95,842.50
  • Banubanu Beach Retreat: Deliver guided nature experience during turtle nesting and hatching season with purpose built, safe and lit elevated pathway $150,000.00
  • Banubanu Lodge: Establish the East Arnhem Dining and Entertainment Precinct, a new food tuck dining with reserved seating, ticketed live music events and curated performances $150,000.00
  • Cooinda Lodge Kakadu: Deliver two self-contained, two-bedroom family units (including one being fully assessable) $150,000.00
  • Darwin Military Museum: Deliver an augmented reality experience bringing the museum’s collections to life $49,945.00
  • Earth Sanctuary: Deliver a new all-weather virtual reality Space Adventure experience combining astronomy, dark skies tourism, Indigenous sky stories and STEAM education $7,427.05
  • Go Wide Cattle Company: Establish a year-round on-farm event and education centre at Old Cameron Downs, Batchelor $116,865.00
  • Intrepid Ooraminna Station Homestead: Deliver 10 fully serviced bookable glamping tents with private ensuites and creating a high-quality, nature-based accommodation experience $150,000.00
  • J&L Outback Experience: Deliver the Kurrku Cultural Stay Experience with a converted shipping container accommodation unit at Kurrku Homeland $49,133.84
  • Jawoyn Aboriginal Charitable Trust No. 1: Deliver the Ganyil Big Sky Dinner, catering for up to 60 guests a premium cultural dining experience on Jawoyn Country at the entrance to Nitmiluk National Park $136,467.50
  • Midland Caravan Park Elliott: Deliver stage two of 3 x single bedroom cabins $126,458.02
  • Olive Pink Botanic Garden: Launch the new Olive Pink Sunrise Walks, a unique dawn eco-tourism experience $19,158.75
  • Ridgy Didge Creations: Launch authentic didgeridoo playing and making workshops for visitors to Alice Springs at This Is Aboriginal Art gallery $16,967.31
  • Yarraman Territory: Deliver a year-round horse-riding experience offering small-group trail rides through established Top End bushland trails $58,303.51.

  • Kings Creek Station: Deliver three purpose-build, self-contained family accommodation units featuring two bedrooms, living, kitchenette, bathroom and private outdoor deck overlooking the Gorge Gill Range $300,000.00
  • Renner Springs Roadhouse: Deliver a family two-bedroom unit at Renner Springs Roadhouse $282,425.00
  • The Leea Resort: Deliver the Papa Sol Darwin combining premium dining, live-fire cooking, interactive beverage experiences and flexible event programming within a fully integrated indoor and poolside setting $300,000.00
  • The Safari Collection: Deliver an eco-luxury glamping experience set within a wildlife sanctuary – a product combining five premium safari accommodation sites, exclusive after-hours wildlife access, guided nocturnal safari experiences and dark skies stargazing $300,000.00.

The projects allocated funding from the NT Experience Fund, Military tourism offerings (excluding GST) are:

  • Central Australian Aviation Museum: Deliver a self-guided Military History Trail map will identify artefacts &/or sites that were integral to the war effort using QR code technology to deliver relevant researched stories $39,515.00
  • Motor Vehicle Enthusiasts Club: Enhance the 1934 Qantas Hangar by developing new interpretive material to enhance the “Attack of the Trace” display, design and produce an additional display/signboard and refurbish the existing interpretive displays $36,320.00
  • National Trust of Australia (NT): Develop local records, displays, interpretive signage and archival records of Tennant Creek and the Barkly heritage both military and civilian heritage at Tuxworth Fullwood House $27,846.00
  • Royal Flying Doctor Service Darwin Tourist Facility: Upgrade the Bombing of Darwin and Darwin Harbour existing static information into visually engaging and emotionally connected interpretations and improved integration of existing displays $40,000.00
  • True Blue Productions: Deliver at the WWII Tunnels and Jervois Park precinct, a self-guided tour in augmented reality / digital interpretations and expand the storytelling of the Bombing of Darwin and connecting it to the broader WWII campaigns across Southeast Asia, including the Fall of Java $37,618.51
  • World War II Oil Storage Tunnels: Deliver a “Beneath the Earth” Workers Memorial to honour the workers of the Civil Construction Corps who constructed the tunnels during World War II through a life-sized commemorative sculpture, guided interpretation and audio storytelling $35,537.26.
